linen summer skirts Pattern: Simplicity 5914, view A and view F Fabric: linen-rayon blend Construction Notes: Each skirt has six gores (well, the white one has seven, since I messed up when cutting out and had to make a seam up the back). The scarlet skirt is A-line while the white skirt has a trumpet shape. Miscellaneous Ramblings: Jo-Ann's had their summer fabrics on sale for 60% off, so I bought two lengths of linen-rayon blend to make some pretty summer skirts. I love the long white one, especially -- so breezy and summery! back
