flapper dress Pattern: unknown Fabric: black rayon and black fringe trim Construction Notes: This is a very simple dress, with side darts at the bust, and a basically straight "hang" from there. It is lined, and the hem is cut assymetrically. Miscellaneous Ramblings: I designed this when I was 16 or so, and Mom made it for me. It was based on a dress I saw at a cheapy store called Wet Seal. The original dress was made of horrible fabric and quite clingy, so I like my version much better! I have worn this dress to the few formal occasions I've attended in my lifetime. back
